James Graham OBE
Playwright & Screenwriter
James is a multiple award-winning playwright and screenwriter for film and TV. His plays have been staged throughout the UK and internationally, and include political drama This House, which premiered in 2012, and Ink, about the early days of Rupert Murdoch, which premiered in 2017.
His screen work includes Quiz, one of the most-watched UK television dramas of 2020, and Brexit: An Uncivil War, which garnered huge public attention and critical acclaim in 2019. His feature film X + Y was selected for the Toronto International Film Festival in 2014.
James’ latest play, the political drama Best of Enemies, premiered at the Young Vic in December 2021 and transferred to the West End last November.
James was appointed an OBE in the 2020 New Year Honours for services to drama and young people in British theatre.
