Liz is Co-founder & Managing Director of The Ability People, the social enterprise that empowers people with disabilities by helping companies enhance processes and adapt their cultures, transforming professional lives and building better brands.
Liz has earned success as a Paralympian swimmer – winning Paralympic Gold in Beijing, Silver in Athens and Bronze in London, and performing as a World and European champion on multiple occasions – as well as a media commentator, mentor, charity fundraiser and community ambassador.
Alongside her work at The Ability People, media commentator and charity positions, Liz is also a regular speaker at events, sharing her personal journey in overcoming the challenges posed by cerebral palsy. In 2018 Liz was named as one of the BBC’s 100 Global Women destined to change the world.
