Marverine is a multi-award-winning broadcaster and journalist with a career spanning more than 30 years. During that time she has worked as a reporter, producer and news anchor for many of the UK’s leading broadcasters, including Good Morning Britain, Sky News, BBC 5 Live and BBC Radio 4. She’s also a familiar face as a news and current affairs commentator on ITV’s This Morning and Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch.
Marverine has also produced several radio documentaries, including Luck Be A Lady Tonight about female gambling addicts for BBC Radio 4. Black Girls Don’t Cry, a documentary for BBC Radio 4, earned her ‘Journalist of the Year’ at the Mind Media Awards in 2019.
She is also a connoisseur of craft beer and real ales and is an accredited beer sommelier and Contributing Editor at BBC Good Food.
