Pete Jackson
Comedy & Drama Writer
Pete is a comedy and drama writer. His hit series Somewhere Boy, produced by Clerkenwell Films, debuted at the French television festival Series Mania where it won the Prix du Public and received widespread critical acclaim following its launch on Channel 4 last October.
Prior to this, Pete was best known for his much-lauded bittersweet comedy-drama series, Love In Recovery, set in an Alcoholics Anonymous group. The series ran on BBC Radio 4 for three series and won Pete a BBC Audio Drama Award. He also received acclaim for his Sky Urban Myth One Normal Night for Sky Arts.
Pete’s projects in development include a TV adaptation of Nick Cave’s The Death of Bunny Munro, also with Clerkenwell Films, and original series in both the US at Fee Fi Fo Films and UK with Miramax, Bonafide, Silverprint and BBC Studios.
