Howard Grindrod

Vice President, Hisense UK

Howard is Vice President of Hisense UK, the fastest-growing smart-TV brand in the UK. His connection with Hisense indirectly goes back to around 1997 when he was actively involved in the sourcing and importation of electrical products in the consumer electronics, major domestic appliances and small domestic appliances segments.

Some of the connections he made during this time were later to become senior executives at Hisense Corporation. This in turn led to him assisting in the establishment of Hisense UK.

Prior to his international sourcing activities, he held sales, marketing and general management positions in companies including Black & Decker, Toshiba and Electrolux.
