Mariella Frostrup is a broadcaster and journalist known for her coverage of the arts and culture, and author tackling ignorance around the menopause, writing Cracking The Menopause and presenting the documentary The Truth About The Menopause for the BBC.
As a journalist she has interviewed some of the biggest names in film, music, literature and politics – from Sir Paul McCartney to Kermit the Frog, Salman Rushdie to Desmond Tutu. Mariella is a lead presenter on Times Radio where she hosts a daily look at news and society, and host the podcast Books To Live By.
Her career began in music PR which – via dealing with Live Aid and Band Aid – led to Channel 4’s music show, Big World.
