Everyone TV is responsible for the operation and management of the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) on the UK’s Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) platform.
As part of our work in this area, we have identified that the number of logical channel numbers (LCNs) available for new streamed channels is unlikely to support the expected growth in the number of these services in the short-to-medium term.
We propose merging the Text and Streamed genres to make an additional nine LCNs available to new streamed channels joining the platform. This consultation invites views on our proposal, and we welcome and encourage responses from all stakeholders in free TV platforms.
